The SVIN Registry’s purpose is to create a national surveillance system.
This system will assess the characteristics, treatments, and outcomes of patients with large vessel and distal medium vessel occlusion acute ischemic strokes (LVOS and DMVOS).
Additionally, to facilitate efforts to improve the quality and safety of LVOS/DMVOS patient care and investigate novel quality improvement methods. The SVIN Registry currently has 13 active sites. There has been a total of 6,211 cumulative enrollments.
