About SVIN

The Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology was created to achieve the highest level of care for patients through increased collaboration in scientific research and by educating young professionals and training young investigators. The Society also aims to provide opportunities to connect leaders in the field and provide a common ground for dialogue and the creation of practice and safety standards.

About American Heart Association

From humble beginnings, the American Heart Association (AHA) has grown into the United States' oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. A shared focus on cardiovascular health unites more than 35 million volunteers and supporters as well as over 2,900 employees.

Heart disease is the No. 1 killer worldwide, and stroke ranks second globally. Even when those conditions don’t result in death, they cause disability and diminish quality of life. The AHA wants to see a world free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.

The size and scope of AHA creates real impact. The assocation has invested more than $5 billion in research, making them the largest not-for-profit funding source for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease research next to the federal government.

The AHA's mission is to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives.
